Isedio PROTECTOR STRIP comprises a cold drawn mild steel edge strip and shear studs. The shear studs are factory drawn arc welded to one side of the steel strip and they anchor the strip into the top edge of the concrete slab.
The PROTECTOR STRIP comprises two back-to-back protector strips that have been secured together with plastic frangible fasteners. Timber formwork is used to form the slab panel perimeter and contain the concrete when being cast. PROTECTOR STRIPS are attached to the top of the timber framework by special PROTECTOR STRIP fixing brackets which are available separately. The concrete is cast to the top of the PROTECTOR STRIP edges.
